On AppStore, simply follow the link. You will automatically resubscribe after one month at the regular price, but you can cancel the subscription at any time during the first month to avoid being charged for the renewal.

To redeem on Google Play, open the app and hit on the "Settings" icon.

Unless you are already subscribed, this will bring you to the subscription page, where you need to hit "BUY" button.

This will bring up the Google Play popup.

Do not hit "Subscribe".
Instead, click on the "arrow" sign next to your default payment method to bring the list of available payment methods and then choose "Redeem code" at the bottom.
